Ulticom and GoAhead Pre-Validate to Help TEMs Gain Edge over Proprietary Solutions
BELLEVUE, Wash. –– January 31, 2006 –– GoAhead® Software, the expert in building integrated middleware for highly available systems, today announced that Ulticom Inc. (NASDAQ: ULCM), the premier provider of network signaling software solutions, has become a GoAhead Application Ready Platform partner as a member of the GoAhead Integration Alliance. Through rigorous testing, GoAhead and Ulticom will validate interoperability between SelfReliant®, GoAhead’s application-ready, high availability platform, and Ulticom’s portfolio of Signalware products.
The GoAhead Integration Alliance (GIA) is designed to provide telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs) with the added value of an application ready platform that is built with standards-based, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components that have been pre-validated to work with SelfReliant, the high availability middleware solution for telecom equipment manufacturers requiring 99.999% or greater availability.
